The Argentine star is linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, when his contract with the Parisians expires.
Recent events, including the club’s decision to suspend him for two weeks, appear to have increased the likelihood of him leaving the Parc des Princes.
Chelsea, a club that had shown interest in Messi even while he was part of Barcelona, is reported to be interested in the 35-year-old even now.
Barcelona are believed to be favorites to sign the World Cup winner, but Blues owner Todd Boehly is also planning to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
According to Football London, the American owner is keen to secure another big signing ahead of the 2023/24 season, following a poor season for the club.
Messi is also said to have offers on the table from Saudi Arabia and the US, as he is expected to confirm his future after the end of the current season.
