Ten Hag, shocked by Ronaldo’s statements

Erik ten Hag was shocked by Cristiano Ronaldo’s latest statements.

The coach of Manchester United was one of the targets of the attacks of the Portuguese star in the last interview given to the British medium “The Sun”.

The 37-year-old declared that he has no respect for the former coach of Ajax, insisting that even the Dutch coach lacked respect for him.

And these statements are unacceptable and unforgivable for the new coach of the “Red Devils”.

Sources inside the English club say that, in the meeting with one of the owners, Joel Glazer, the chief executive, Richard Arnold and with the director of football, John Murtough, Ten Hag has expressed his opinion after the player’s explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

Ten Hag thinks that Ronaldo has gone so far with the criticism that he no longer deserves to be given the chance to play for his team.

He no longer wants the five-time Golden Ball winner in his team, informs the medium “ESPN”.

Man Utd had suspended the former Sporting Lisbon, Real Madrid and Juventus player after he refused to come on in the game against Tottenham and left the bench before the end of the game.

Relations between the player and the English club have finally broken down and Ronaldo is expected to leave “Old Trafford” in the January transfer window.

Ronaldo has a contract with United until the end of this season with a hefty salary of more than £500,000 a week.

However, it will be impossible for him to re-integrate into the group of players after the end of the World Cup.
