Nothing changes for Chelsea as they continue to lose to Newcastle

Chelsea have been struggling in the Premier League, registering a fifth negative result in their last five games. Tonight, the London Blues were beaten at St James Park by Newcastle. Willock (67′) was the only scorer in this match

Chelsea continues with poor performances in the Premier League this season. Graham Potter’s side are going through a very poor run of form, with this being their sixth poor result in their last five Premier League games.

The first half belonged entirely to Newcastle United, who dominated the match but were unable to convert these actions into goals.

However, the first shot in the match was made by the Albanian striker, Armando Broja, who managed to make a shot at the gate in the 35th minute.

The second half was very open, with both teams constantly looking for the lead goal.

The first goal would come in this match in the 67th minute.

Almiron made a good breakthrough in front of the area and coincidentally followed by Joseph Willock who scored for the home team’s lead in this match.

The goal proved to be the winner for Newcastle United who are now third in the Premier League with 30 points, one more than fourth-placed Tottenham.

Chelsea, on the other hand, will enter the winter in the 8th position of the Premier League.

We remind you that the Premier League returns on December 26, where Chelsea will play at home against AFC Bournemouth on December 27, and Newcastle against Leicester as a guest.
