Erling Haaland has been chosen as the best footballer in the Premier League for the 2022/23 season by the Association of Football Journalists.
The Manchester City forward received 82 percent of the vote, beating Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Martin Odegaard.
Haaland contributed 51 goals in all competitions so far this season while Man City is trying to win three trophies.
The 22-year-old achieved these goals in just 47 games, which is why he has more goals than games.
The former Borussia Dortmund player has scored 35 goals in the Premier League, breaking the absolute record.
Meanwhile, Haaland will try to break new records in the continuation of the championship.
In the women’s competition, Chelsea striker Sam Kerr was chosen as the best footballer of the year.
