Bayern Munich secured the next victory in the Bundesliga, to cement the first place in the German elite. Tonight, the Bavarians won as guests of Schalke with a score of 0-2. Gnabry (38′) and Choupo-Moting (52′) scored the goals for Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich have continued their good form by winning their last five matches in the Bundesliga. Tonight, the victim of the good form of the Bavarians was the team at the bottom of the table, Schalke 04.
The first half went with Bayern’s dominance, but they did not manage to quickly break Schalke’s defense.
This came in the 38th minute when Serge Gnabry took a ball from Musiala and scored for a score of 0-1, with which score the first half ended.
In the second half, Bayern started very fast and managed to score the second goal.
It was a quick counter-attack by the German champions and again it was Musiala who assisted Choupo-Moting who scored in the 52nd minute.
After 15 rounds, Bayern Munich is in first place with 34 points, six more than RB Leipzig, which is in second place. From 15 games, Bayern have 10 wins, four draws and one loss.
Schalke, on the other hand, continues to be in the last place with nine points where out of 15 games they have won two, tied three and lost 10.
We remind you that the Bundesliga returns to action on January 20. Bayern Munich are expected to play RB Leipzig away in 2023, while Schalke 04 play on January 21 against Eintracht Frankfurt.
