Albania suffered defeat in the first friendly of November.
The Albanian national team lost to the reigning champion of Europe, Italy.
The match played tonight at “Air Albania Stadium” ended with the result 1:3.
The “Reds” were the first to take the lead in the 16th minute, thanks to a beautiful header by Ardian Ismajli.
However, the Italians reacted quickly and overturned the result.
First Giovanni Di Lorenzo scored in the 20th minute, and after five minutes Vincenzo Grifo also scored.
Grifo also scored in the 64th minute to give the victory to the “Azzurre”.
Albania registered some good chances to score, but on two occasions the goal was denied by the post, as the goalkeeper of Italy, Alex Meret, was on his night tonight and received several shots from the Albanian footballers.
We remind you that after three days, on November 19, Albania will play the next friendly match, against Armenia.
This will be Albania’s last match for this year.
