Sergio Ramos: I will sadly be watching the World Cup at home

Sergio Ramos has broken his silence after not being invited to represent Spain

Sergio Ramos has released a statement on his social networks after Luis Enrique did not invite him to play in the World Cup in Qatar.

The Spanish coach released his list on November 11 of 26 players who will play in Qatar and the defender, although he had been on the pre-final list, was not among those selected.

“The World Cup? Of course, it was one of the biggest dreams I have fulfilled,” said Ramos.

“It would be the fifth for me, but unfortunately I have to watch it from home.”
